The
Trading
Post
is
located
on
the
East
end
of
the
Admin
building
and
serves
as
a
general
store
providing
a
variety
of
refreshments,
as
well
as
general
Camping
equipment,
t-shirts,
and
Wente
Scout
Reservation
souvenirs.
Scoutmasters
may
want
to
provide
leadership
to
Scouts
to
assure
that
purchases
are
reasonable.
The
Trading
Post
is
available
after
meals
and
during
program
time.
The
Trading
Post
accepts
cash,
checks,
as
well
as
Visa
&
Mastercard
.
The
Trading
Post
also
has
Camping
equipment
and
materials
you’ll
need
to
complete
those
Merit
Badges
you’re
working
on.
If
you
forgot
your
coffee
mug,
you
can
pick
up
a
new mug from our friendly staff. Merit Badge books can be purchased here too!
The
Lost
&
Found
is
located
in
the
Trading
Post.
Please
make
sure
that
all
of
your
Scouts’
gear is marked with their name and Unit number in case it is turned in.
Located
in
the
Handicraft
building
is
the
Trading
Post
annex,
known
as
the
Handi-Post,
this
is
where
the
original
trading
post
was
located
back
in
1964.
Here
you
can
buy
similar
products
that
we
have
in
the
main
trading
post,
including
a
smaller
selection
of
soda,
water, candy and other Camping supplies.

the Trading Post

Shotgun/Rifle tickets -
Lunch Across the Lake - for a change of scenery sign up as a Troop in the Trading Post
at least one day before if you are interested.
Wooly Wash Patches - Wente Wooly Wash patches are available for purchase.
Kali-Ama Trail - Stamp pads are available at the Trading Post for a deposit.
Cobblers - Sign up the night before you want to make cobblers, at the Trading Post.
Visitor Meals - Visitors should pay for meals in the Trading Post (see Visitors in
Camp) and join their Troop in the dining hall within the space allotted without
encroaching on the space of neighboring Troops.

The
camp
trading
post
has
moved
four
times
since
the
camp
was
opened.
It
was
first
located
on
the
north
end
of
the
handicraft
building
from
1964
until
1971.
From
1971
until
1989
it
was
located
on
the
east
end
of
the
commissary
building
facing
the
admin
building.
From
1989
until
2012
it
was
moved
to
the
west
end
of
the
original
admin
building
and
since
2012
it
has
been
located
on
the
east
end
of
the
new
admin building.
